Chicano Park: Land, Art and Empowerment

Chicano Park: Land,
Art and Empowerment is a 60-minute documentary which will
detail the $1.6 million dollar Chicano Park mural restoration project
and explore the history of the San Diego Chicano community and the
legendary park through the stories told by its artists and its murals.
Hailed as the largest outdoor
collection of art and “the sistine chapel of California,” Chicano Park
is a world famous symbol for community self determination, art and
cultural empowerment.

Institute (SAMMI). Segments include the San Anto Muralist in Residence

and a video essay on the San Antonio punk scene.

Dia de los Muertos Concert/Fundraiser
Organized
the "Dia de los Muertos/Noche de Musica" concert/fundraiser to help
raise money for the annual Festival Hall Holdiay Toy and Book Giveaway
in Santa Ana, CA. The concert featured performances by Lysa Flores, Go
Betty Go, Las 15 Letras, Terremoto and The Rolling Blackouts. Poster
